Re: 2010 Referee Recertification Process

Please read this entire letter to ensure you understand how to recertify for 2010.

It is that time of the year to begin thinking about recertification, the courses are held from July through January, you must attend one of the recertification clinics to recertify your license.

If you are a grade 9 or 8 you must attend one of the Grade 9, 8 recertification courses to retain your present grade.

 

 

 

If you are a grade 7 and met the Maintenance Assessment requirements or have just been assessed and to be a grade 7; your last chance will be on November 21, 2009 to recertify and to retain your present grade.

 

 

 

 

 

If you are a grade 6 or 5 your only chance for recertification in Indiana will be on December 5, 2009 to recertify and to retain your present grade if you have met the Maintenance Assessment requirement. All Emeritus referees are required to attend the advance clinic.

           

 

 

Please do not complete the registration form included with this letter at this time, bring the recertification form with you to the recertification course you plan to attend, instructions for completing the form will be given at this meeting.

As you already know, Indiana uses an online registration program, you will need to put the following address in your computer browser to get started, the address is below….your information is already in the system, but you must update the information.

At this point please go to the https://ssl.hammersoccer.com/IndianaRef/RefereeClinics.asp and when you are in the system, at eReferee Registration System Login Here please select Login Here this will take you to the screen to begin to update your info. You may also select a course to attend, but not all courses are in the system yet so you will need to come back to this same site to check for new courses from time to time.

Your social security number is no longer needed/required, the best way to get into the new system is with your name and birthdates, you need both to get into the system. To get into the system with your name you will need to enter your name just as it is in the system. (For example, if you name is in the system as Richard but you go by Rick, Rick will not get you in the system, you must type Richard.) If you are having trouble getting into the new system contact your DRA so they can tell you just how you entered your name into the old system.

IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH REGISTERING PLEASE CONTACT YOUR DISTRICT REFEREE ADMINISTRATOR. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH REGISTERING HAVE YOUR DISTRICT REFEREE ADMINISTRATOR SEND YOU YOUR INFORMATION THAT IS IN THE INDIANA DATABASE.

Steps To Recertify for 2010 with the Indiana State Referee Database Program

1. Go to the Indiana Registration Site to register for this year, https://ssl.hammersoccer.com/IndianaRef/RefereeClinics.asp

2. Select the course you want to attend. You may scroll through the whole list of courses or narrow your search by defining specifically the type of course and date.

3. Follow the screen prompts. Follow the instructions and register for this course.
